Booking Process

Getting a quote

After submitting your inquiry or scheduling a consultation, our coordinators will reach out to provide you with a quote, provided that you are a good candidate for surgery. When they call you, be prepared to have a thorough conversation with your coordinator. Our staff is very knowledgeable, and this is your opportunity to have all your questions answered. If you accept the quote and want to start the booking process as soon as possible, they will then begin arranging for the payment of your deposit and helping you select a date for your procedure. 

Deposit

To book your procedure and lock in your rate, you will need to make a deposit, which is 10% or 20% of your total quote. If you pay a 20% deposit, it is fully refundable up until 45 days before your procedure. We understand that things can happen that derail your plans, so we are happy to accommodate your needs. If you do opt for a 10% deposit, then it is non-refundable.

Pick a surgery date

After you have made your initial deposit, our coordinators will help arrange your procedure date. Once booked, you’ll have a full year to undergo your surgery. However, you will need to have a date selected for your surgery in order to book your procedure — we cannot collect deposits without a specific surgery date. If you have to reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible so we can accommodate you. You will be able to reschedule your procedure twice without penalties, as long as you let us know 46 or more days before your surgery date. 

Payments

As we get closer to your surgery date, be aware that full payment is required at least two weeks in advance. However, you can choose to make your payments in a way that works best for you — you can pay all at once, make smaller payments on a monthly basis or you can finance the entire amount. Please bear in mind that if you finance the entire amount, we are subject to the policies of each financing company. Our coordinators can answer any questions. We accept financing options like Cherry, CareCredit, Alphaeon and Affirm to help you pay for your surgery.

Step 3

Medical Clearance

Making sure you’re healthy enough for surgery

Safety is our top priority at PURE, so it’s important to gain medical clearance from your doctor before undergoing your procedure. This involves routine blood tests, EKGs and other labs to make sure you’re healthy enough for surgery. We recommend scheduling these tests as soon as possible so you have sufficient time to be seen and submit your results to our team.  

Our pre-op department will contact you about 45-60 days before your procedure to provide you with your lab order and give you instructions on how to get ready for your surgery. Please make sure you have an appointment scheduled with your primary care physician 30 or so days before your procedure date so they can clear you. This clearance should be submitted to us at least three weeks before your scheduled surgery to ensure a safe procedure.

Step 4

Travel Plans

If you’re visiting us from out of town, at this stage, it’s time to start making travel plans! Our coordinators can help arrange your stay through our partnership with the AC Hotel Dadeland that is located 10 minutes away from our offices. You’ll also receive information about our staff’s favorite locations around the area — including food, shopping and entertainment recommendations.

Step 5

Your Procedure

After booking, arranging your travel plans, and coming in for your pre-op appointment, the next step is undergoing your procedure. Your surgery will be performed at the PURE Plastic Surgery office in Miami, Florida, located just 15 miles outside of downtown. We take patient care seriously, so our office is equipped with a state-of-the-art Joint Commission-accredited office-based surgical facility that meets the highest standards of safety and quality. 

Our entire team is fully vetted and trained to give you the most comforting experience during and after your surgery. You are in good hands! Following your procedure, prepare to be in the recovery area for an hour or so for monitoring, then your caretaker can bring you home or to your hotel. We will check on you within 24 hours of your procedure through our virtual tools and answer any questions you may have. Our goal is for you to feel supported every step of the way!

Step 6

Post-Op

Day One

Your recovery and well-being are our top priorities at PURE Plastic Surgery, so we schedule your first check-in one day after your procedure to make sure that everything is going well. This appointment can be done in office or virtually, depending on your needs and comfort level. 

Unless you have a post-op lymphatic massage scheduled with us, we recommend opting for a virtual session. Our medical assistant will conduct this call to see how you’re feeling and how your first night went. This check-in also provides you with a valuable opportunity to voice any immediate questions or concerns you may have, allowing us to address them promptly, ensuring your comfort and safety during this critical phase of your recovery.

Day Five

The post-op appointment five days after your surgery is in-person and extremely important, especially for out-of-town patients. It allows us to properly evaluate you, screen for complications or side effects and take your post-op day-five photos. If you leave before this appointment, it is considered leaving against medical advice.

That being said, if you need anything in between your scheduled appointments — including addressing any questions or concerns you may have — please reach out to us! We love to hear from you, and we’re always happy to ensure that you have the best experience possible.

Week Six

Six weeks after your surgery will be a virtual appointment where we review how you have been healing and collect additional photos. During this appointment, we will review the restrictions that were placed following your surgery and if everything is cleared, those restrictions will be lifted.
