In fact, most people can’t attain this look with exercise alone. “If someone is straight up and down, no exercise or diet can change that into a more curvaceous shape,” says Dr. Alex Earle. “In that case, the best way to create an hourglass figure is to surgically add fat to the hips and butt with the help of a board-certified plastic surgeon.
